Horseshoe Bend is a 7-mile long peninsula located on beautiful Lake of the Ozarks. Named for its horseshoe like configuration as the Lake follows its distinctive shape, “the Bend” offers visitors and residents 54,000 acres with over 65 miles of natural shoreline. As you turn onto Horseshoe Bend Parkway, from Business Hwy. 54 in Lake Ozark, you will be surrounded by beautifully landscaped golf courses alternating with naturally dense forest. Traveling through the hills and gentle curves that follow the crest of "the Bend" you will catch a glimpse of the Lake along both sides of the three-lane Horseshoe Bend Parkway. A turn to the left or the right might take you into a secluded subdivision of architecturally distinct homes occupied by year round or part-time residents.

The Horseshoe Bend area is home to many types of lodging establishments for the business and recreation traveler alike. From traditional family owned resorts with cabins and cottages to lodging hotels to luxuriously upscale condominium complexes. Private homes that dot the shoreline are often for rent for a more secluded vacation. Many of the accommodations are equipped with fireplaces, Jacuzzis, and other special amenities making them the perfect get way for any season.

While water dominates as the main Lake area attraction, there are many other activities to be enjoyed here.
